SUSAN MYRICK - THE ARTIST
 
 

     
   
  Among Sue’s circle of friends, some were professional artists. These Friendships led Sue to take up painting. In retirement, she took first place in an art show.

     She used various media, but her favorite was watercolor. The most difficult medium, she said, was Georgia clay. Her beautifully manicured nails suffered when she pounded clay into a powder, fine enough to mix with water.
